My Basic Facts Test

I am testing how quickly I can

remember my Basic Facts.

I need to remember my Basic Facts

because they are the knowledge I need to

help me with strategies

to solve Maths problems.

On Friday(Week 4) I got 46/60 and on Friday(Week 5) I got the same result which is 46/60.

I need to work on all of my columns especially my Subtraction problems and I need to know my facts off by heart.

On Friday(Week 3) I got 50/60 and on Friday(Week 2) I got 46/60. I need to work on my Groupings within 10, Doubles/Halves to 20, a bit of 10's and 100's, a little of Addition to 10 and a bit of Subtraction to 10.

I think I still need to work on all of my facts so I can move onto stage 5 and catch up with my Maths.

My typing Test

I am practising my typing so

I can be quicker

and more accurate.

This will help me

finish my work faster.

Monday

On Monday I got 56 WPM and on Friday 50 WPM.

I got a lower score, but I am still trying to get up to 60.

On week 2 and week 4 my results are the same, but different times and I think that they are the same because the facts I did on week 4 were only 2,3,4,5 and 10 and on week 2 I did all the facts.

Finding the Topic sentence in paragraphs

we have read in our own words.

are reading by answering the questions correctly

We can show our understanding about what

we have done wrong by explaining

what we should have done.

This is my second slide for week 4 and we had to do two texts this time and summarise two texts, well we had to summarise every read theory text we get unless it is the QAR slides.

This was the first Read Theory for week 4, I was on grade 3 and I got all my questions right, I put words on that I didn't know, but I didn't search up what it means.

On Tuesday I got 51 WPM and on Friday I got 44 WPM.

We did not do our typing on Monday because we had a test in the morning.

My speed is lower than Tuesday because I was not focusing because someone was singing.
